Nancy veteran foodie and long-term Stillwater resident became intrigued with culinary food tourism after years of worldwide travel, participating in various food tours and cooking schools. "The most memorable eats I have experienced are Uni at the Tokyo Fish Market, the Deep Fried Crickets on the streets of Bangkok, the tagines in Morocco and the empanadas at a bus stop at the top of Mount Aconcagua in Chile. I love to travel! My idea of a vacation is exploring the back streets of cities and small towns and indulging in local "craic", food and drink! Delighted with Liz's idea of a local culinary tour, Foodies On Foot was born!

Liz grew up in Stillwater. Following in her parent's footsteps, she enjoys traveling and has had the opportunity to discover many of the culinary delights the world has to offer.... From the dondurma in Turkey to the curries in Thailand. Her favorite culinary experience has been the tapas in Spain. She now enjoys going on what she calls “tapas tours”; small plates at a number of restaurants. This way of eating inspired her to start Foodies On Foot.
